• A manufacturer tool or service image your shop holds no credentials for — escalate to authorised service.
• A control that will not boot after a documented update attempt — authorised service, never a public file.
• Any request to bypass a lid or door lock to force a spin — refuse and explain why.
• Repeated update failure on a correctly identified model — escalate with your written version record.
• A symptom that survives matched versions, a sound harness and a metered part — stop, and escalate with evidence rather than replacing parts in sequence.
